TEACHER LEADER IN PRESCHOOL INSTITUTION
Abstract
Research on the phenomenon of leadership in recent years has revealed that attitudes in society towards who can be a leader in education are changing. This is actualized both by the research conducted by researchers and by the Lithuanian strategic educational documents, which emphasize that anyone who ignites their ideas, is committed to change and leads others can be a leader in the organization.
As a result, leadership is no longer confined to school managers. The expression of leadership becomes no less important for every participant in the educational process: teachers, parents, children and other members of the school community.
Today, the school that prepares its students for the future and the entire education system can no longer function according to traditional organizational governance models that recognize one-person management and leadership. Transforming the education system to meet the demands of an ever-changing society on its future members requires not only political will but also education leaders committed to change.
Promoting the leadership of pre-school teachers should be one of the strategic goals of the institution and the pursuit of educational goals and change at both the institutional and national levels. The opportunity for teachers to become involved and participate in the management and change processes of the educational institution, to develop the traits and qualities of a leader allows them to grow both as educational professionals and as personalities.

MODELLING OF VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: PRIORITIES OF A NEW LEARNING POLICY STRATEGY
Abstract
The research explores problem contexts of the modelling of virtual learning environment. School communities are facing learning difficulties under the rapidly evolving global conditions. Considering the tendencies in changing learning processes, it is essential to reflect upon and provide a basis for the contours of the modelling of a virtual learning environment. While in search of new learning conceptualization strategies, it is very important to properly understand the inclusive and activating context of open learning space, as well as to properly assess the content elements and anticipate the possible features of expression. The process of modelling of the virtual learning environment is analysed through reflexive approaches. The contemporary school is now moving onto the logic of organizing learning services, revealing new trends of expression: skills, information, knowledge, networking relations between learners and the creation of learning values. Virtual learning environment is positioned as an inevitable vision. This vision aims for the learner to be in the centre of learning, while learning itself would be understood as a social process, where learners create a confidence-based culture, design a course of personalized learning for themselves, apply different methods and styles of learning in regard to the objective of the learning object. The goal of the new learning policy strategy is to establish learning environments that would create conditions for people of different interests and capabilities to receive customized education, adapt to various life situations and aims, as well as combine formal learning and self-education.

DISTANCE LEARNING AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT: THE CASE OF SECOND GRADE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract
The research analyses the models of involvement of parents of 2nd grade students in the process of children's education, creative activities based on cooperation between parents and children. The peculiarities of the development of a child aged 7-11, the significance of independence and relationship with parents in the learning process are reviewed, and the impact of parents' involvement in distance and contact learning on children is discussed. The above-mentioned issues are examined on the basis of scientific and methodological literature, the data of the survey of parents of second-graders conducted in spring 2021, and a simultaneous study of creative activity, which provided a better understanding of the child's involvement in learning and satisfaction.
The analysis of the results of the research revealed that: the parents' opinion about the involvement in the child's educational process is generally positive (they see a lot of meaning and possibilities in it); the joy of learning and enjoyment of the process experienced by a child is determined by many different factors: the child's personal abilities, the level of independence and self-confidence, the degree and relationship between the child and the parents; excessive involvement of parents in creative activities has a negative impact on the child's attitude towards themselves, the learning process and the end result.

EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION EXPERIENCES AND DISCOVERIES IN A PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract
Going deeper into the subtleties of experiential education, the aim was – to analyse teachers’ experience in organising experiential teaching/learning for primary school students and to present the discoveries of a novice teacher in conducting experiential educational activities. Five primary school teachers-experts participated in the study. Teachers define experiential learning as the application of knowledge in practice, thus creating stronger links between knowledge and skills. Experiential education is especially recommended by primary school teachers in grades 3-4, and particularly for teaching the world cognition, as students already have sufficient experience working in pairs and groups, are able to work collaboratively, and world cognition offers very diverse and interesting, complex contexts for activities. Teachers notice that preparing for experiential learning activities, it is very important for the teacher himself to have a good knowledge of the topic discussed, to have analysed the curriculum, textbooks, in order to open as many activities as possible. Educational activities involving 17 third graders enriched the beginning teacher with the new experiences and discoveries: for example: if students use all their senses while learning and seriously reflect on their experiences, it is easier for them to create individual knowledge.
