NATURE INVESTIGATIONS AND STUDYING PROCESS IN THE SIAULIAI JULIUS JANONIS GYMNASIUM
Abstract
Nature science teacher has an aim to interest school students in processes whose are in the nature and help to find the answers to relevant questions for young generation, that observes themselves as well as the suroundings and notices fast going change processes. Nature investigations, whose are being made by Siauliai Julius Janonis high school (gymnasium) students, consists of a very wide sorts of tasks begining with lesson-lenght laboratory work or practical tasks to several months-lenght microbiologic or genetic experiments.
While organizing my classes I take Valdorfas pedagogical methodics and I make efforts to find such a task that would fit to every single student who likes biology and has both certain personality and personal needs as well. I as a teacher have an extremely important task to choose correct teaching strategies, summarise observations and investigations as well as experiments.
Fast moving world‘s information technologies , that are used by students developes my , as member‘s of older generation, abilities. Fright to push wrong button disapears, due to the fact that I‘m becoming a person who experiences the joy while learning how to use computer technologies.

INTERNATIONAL GLOBE PROGRAMME AND INFORMAL NATURAL SCIENCES EDUCATION IN FABIJONIŠKĖS SECONDARY SCHOOL, VILNIUS
Abstract
An international environmental education programme GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment), initiated by the USA in 1994, is an effective informal education form promoting natural sciences education at schools, colleges and universities, formation of practical skills as well as the development of international cooperation. GLOBE brings together students, teachers and scientists for common work in environmental research. Over 1.5 mln. school children from 111 countries of the world accumulate and contribute information to GLOBE database everyday. At present, Lithuania is represented by 30 schools from 24 cities and towns. Since 2005, the 5th–8th class pupils from Fabijoniškės Secondary School in Vilnius have been taking an active part in GLOBE programme. They carry out observations on atmospheric phenomena (air temperature, snow coverage, cloudiness and cloud type), independently send the research data to the international GLOBE data processing centre (USA), analyse the accumulated material, generalize it and introduce to school community, participate at scientific conferences, etc. The collected research data are particularly valuable for the scientists of GLOBE project, who constantly get information about natural processes occurring in different places of our planet. The data of meteorological measurements, which were carried out by the pupils of Fabijoniškės Secondary School in 2008–2010, show that the curves of air temperature dynamics in Vilnius city are characteristic to temperate climate zone.
Regular observations of meteorological phenomena, which are carried out by the pupils participating in the international GLOBE programme, is a perfect example of informal training and public education, significant for the international development of natural sciences. The data obtained by our pupils and other investigators are presented on GLOBE website, which is a valuable and relevant material that can be used by the pupils, students and scientists from both our and other countries. A possibility to informally train knowledge of natural sciences at schools is closely related to the integration of advanced information technologies into subjects of natural sciences and has a wide didactic aspect. New information technologies and educational methods related to GLOBE programme encourage the participants (students and teachers) to be interested in the innovations of world science and education technologies as well as to improve the achieved skills.

ASPECTS OF NATIONALITY IN BIOLOGY AND TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS
Abstract
While recommending to make scientific projects we teach pupils to learn and develop their attitude towards training their entire life and compose the conditions for their socio-cultural and civil maturity.
Students‘ creativity comes out during Biology and Technology lessons, as well as, out of school, where folk theme is being used in modern ornamental patterns. Lithuanian people, who have kept their folk traditions, language and history for centuries, are still original and interesting for others. Surely, nowadays we are forced to integrate old technologies into new ones. Though, it‘s a great opportunity for students to be introduced more about Lithuanian traditions, their families‘ heritage, exactly fabrics with nature‘s motives. All these makes us to be proud of our genealogical tree, implants patriotism and ensures originality and playfulness for Project works.

HUMANITARIAN DISCOURCE OF ECOLOGICAL ETHICS IN CESLOVAS KALENDA WORKS
Abstract
Regarding Rio De Janeiro Conference (1992), United Nations General Assembly declaration announcing 2005–2014 – as “Decade of Education for Sustainable Development”, author reviews some approaches in teaching Ecological ethics as humanitarian discipline within higher educational institutions in Lithuania and outlines tribute of Ceslovas Kalenda who is one of the famous contributor to Development of Ecological ethics as humanitarian discipline.
Ecological ethics first integrated into study programmes in Vilnius Pedagogical University where it is developed as the branch of general ethics studies in pedagogical studies of teachers. Later on, Ecological ethics is developed within different courses, organizing different events, courses, seminars, conferences. The essence of Ecological ethics as humanitarian discipline is expressed in notion that Ecological ethics is the responsibility for everything what is alive. This responsibility should be fostered in young generations through forming Ecological imperative, nature-friendly attitudes in humans that are based on knowledge of the moral issues, moral sensitivity, and ability to solve environmental problems efficiently.

BIRDS CARE IN THE WINTER – THE WAY TO KNOW THEM
Abstract
We were doing the action called “Foster The Birds In Winter”. The reason of this action is to foster the birds which are hibernating through the winter in Lithuania. In this action took part in our pupils, their parents and the community of our institution. Children fed the birds, knew them better, watched the processes happened in the nature. They did the research – watched the birds giving birth to their prides in their feeding places. They did the watching everyday about 15 minutes . They did 36 observations (according to 2010-03-12 information) where were visited 7 species and 118 birds in their feeding places. We are logging in to the Orni Club via the internet which is organizing this project, where we uploaded the data of our observation.

PHYSICS LEARNING OBJECTS REUSABILITY RESEARCH IN LITHUANIAN REPOSITORIES
Abstract
The paper is aimed to present the results of the eQNet project research on reusability of learning objects (LOs) for Physics subject from Lithuanian repositories. Project research is based on the assumption, that a part of already created learning objects saved in European repositories could be successfully used in different learning contexts and even countries. The research has shown that there is a great number of LOs that can be used in different learning contexts and countries but one should know how to search, evaluate and use these LOs. The paper presents a number of recommendations how to search suitable LOs in the most popular Lithuanian repositories and how to evaluate their „travel well“ quality based on the project researchers‘ recommended quality model. The paper also presents a number of LOs examples from different Lithuanian repositories that have been analysed during the research.

STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION IN PROJECT WORK
Abstract
Herbs consist of the way more plants then just camomile or plantain. Various herbs have been used by Lithuanian women to treat children suffering from fear, aches, cold or to flavour a soup for too chatty men. Artemisia or burdocks are herbs too. As Eugenija Šimkūnaitė, a prophetess known as the first witch in Lithuania used to say: a yard cannot be considered a real yard if there are no bur-docks.
When did people start picking herbs? Who where the first ones to treat people with herbs? Which diseases can be treated using herbs? Students from the 2nd and the 4th grades of Pabiržė main school have decided to answer to these and many more similar questions in the project “Herbs Around Us”.
Pupils have picked some herbs, prepared questionnaires about the use of herbs and conclud-ed their results, searched for riddles about herbs and illustrated them, decorated the school with their drawings, visited one museum in Prienai where got to know about the goddess of herbs called In-draja, witches, who used to heal people, later they have arranged an appointment with the manag-eress of local pharmacy, prepared three stands as well as presented this project at school.

SPICE AND SCIENTIX PROJECTS SUPPORT SCIENCE TEACHERS
Abstract
Changes in the lifestyle and humans needs induce a new approach to teaching and learning, education is focused to knowledge application in practice, skill and competence development. The new educational ICT and inquiry-based methods are being applied.
There are many project financed by European Union which help primary and secondary school teachers increase student motivation for studying science. Different institutions in Lithuania responsible for education content formation with the help EU funds are searching for the ways to make teachers’ job easier, encourage their creativity, sharing the ideas, cooperation and communi-cation in different projects.
Participation in teacher training programmes such as LLP Comenius, Pestalozzi and Euro-pean Schoolnet projects provide teachers with the opportunities of communication and coopera-tion with the colleagues from the other European countries. Teachers are able to influence the edu-cation process changes not only in their own country, but in whole European Union and share their experience within the educational community.
Two new projects SPICE and Scientix for science teaching were launched by European Schoolnet.
The primary objective of the SPICE project is to collect, analyse, validate and share innova-tive pedagogical practice particularly that which is based on inquiry-based learning, whilst enhanc-ing pupils’ interest in the science.
The purpose of Scientix project is the setting-up and management of a user-friendly Internet based information platform ensuring the regular dissemination and sharing of progress, and best practices in the field of science education and providing a feedback mechanism. Scientix will col-lect teaching material from hundreds of European projects and will make them available in all Eu-ropean languages for teachers upon request.

CLEAN ENVIRONMENT – THE SOURCE OF ECO-DEVELOPMENT AND KNOWLEDGE
Abstract
Household waste recycle is a major problem. The reason for this is nowadays man has lost a connection with the environment. Therefore, from an early age we give children a good example by teaching them how to sort out the rubbish. Participating in various activities children become more aware of household waste and find new ways to reuse waste (manufacturing tools, toys). Offered to children and inspired action was appropriate as children become more aware of domestic waste sorting options, perceived importance of the nature of human life, should have the freedom to create, improvise, developed skills of cognitive, social, communicative and artistic skills. Organized week benefitted to kids organic development and sustainable development ideas. Children could acquire knowledge into practice. Organized activities for the pre-school group (children and parents) - a successful attempt to show that nice and clean, smiling environment could be created by ourselves. Only regularly developing our childrens' environmental thinking we can achieve that it will become a norm of our lives.

EVALUATING OF NATURAL SCIENCE SUBJECTS: STUDENTS` POSITION IN THE BALTIC COUNTRIES
Abstract
A number of the latest investigations specify the necessity of improving science education at all levels of the education system. A decreasing interest in sciences is one of the most acute prob-lems of present education. The purpose of this research is to analyse how students evaluate the natural science subjects.
The results enclose that geography is the most interesting discipline for Baltic States’ stu-dents. Less interesting disciplines are biology, chemistry and physics. The least interesting discipline is mathematics. Comparing data between countries there was found out that all disciplines are in-teresting for Lithuanians. Students in Latvia the least interested in all mentioned disciplines. Biolo-gy, chemistry and physics are the most difficult disciplines for Baltic States’ students. Easiest disci-pline is geography. All disciplines looked more difficult for Lithuanians than to Latvians and Esto-nians. Comparing data between sexes that was found out that mostly all factors girls evaluated worse than boys, only geography was more difficult for male students.
It is very important to compare the evaluation, attitudes of the students belonging to the same region country, because earlier carried out researches show that in spite of common natural science education tendencies, rather significant differences exist between countries. It is believable, that they are predetermined by various educational approaches, teachers’ competence and other different reasons.

COHERENCE OF NATURE OF SCIENCE AND INQUIRY IN SCIENCE INSTRUCTION
Abstract
Inquiry and nature of science have become an almost ubiquitous themes in science education around the world. Abd-El-Khalick, et al (2004) noted that inquiry in sci-ence education is one of the few overarching themes that cut across pre-college sci-ence curricula in countries around the globe. The prominence of inquiry in science education highlights the need to understand what is inquiry and what are the chal-lenges of implementation.
The teacher should attempt to promote student understanding of traditional sub-ject matter using an inquiry-oriented teaching approach. Such approach provides stu-dents with experience in “doing” science, an experiential base upon which to reflect about the process and nature of science. NOS and scientific inquiry can serve as uni-fying themes that provide a meaningful context for the learning of the more tradition-al science concepts and principles. NOS and scientific inquiry are instructional objec-tives of primary importance that permeate all aspects of curriculum and instruction.

TEACHING OF GEOGRAPHY TERMS BY DIDACTIC GAME METHOD: SOME ASPECTS OF USE
Abstract
A teacher and a student meet and act in a pedagogical situation. It can be natural or created artificially. In the common activity of a teacher and a student two components can be pointed out: teaching and learning. This process develops naturally if these two sides work together and there is a sequence of activity.
Recently the emphasis is laid on learning quality and acquired common and subject compe-tence. It is especially talked about constructively understood learning which means such an activity where person’s active role in forming knowledge and working with information values most.
Nowadays more attention is paid to teaching and learning in class. Good results are achieved in communication. There is a great variety of methods. There isn’t and the best method for all cas-es. So, various methods are used for different circumstances.
The aim of the article is to reveal the use of didactic game method in learning geography terms.
Taking part in a game, a student becomes a participant of a situation. He / she may have solutions. Motivation and interest in geography is increasing. Games develop imagination, commu-nication skills and form the strategies of behaviour. While playing students acquire a lot of im-portant knowledge which they never forget because they experience everything themselves.

STUDENTS INDEPENDENT WORK ORGANIZATION ASPECTS: EXPERIENCE OF VILNIUS COLLEGE CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT
Abstract
Self-sufficiency as systemic competence is very important in all human age ranges. Devel-oping general and professional abilities, student individual work has become relevant in student centered and competence based studies in higher education institutions.
The article presents the organization of student individual work in Chemistry Department of Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences. Students and lecturers’ opinion is compared, the influence of individual student work on future professional career is introduced and lecturers’ or-ganizational input in preparation, delivery and assessment of student individual work is estimated.
The article contains a variety of learning methods applied in individual studies, their availa-bility and the importance of the right choice according to students’ level of independence. Issues of students’ consultation and rational delivery of the workload, the ways of optimizing the organiza-tion of individual student work in preparation of proper specialists for today’s labour market are highlighted.

ORGANISED NON-FORMAL TRAINING VERSION OF CHEMISTRY. EXTRAMURAL YOUNG CHEMISTS’ SCHOOL “COGNITION” (EYChSC) TEN YEARS REVIEW
Abstract
This paper presents ten-year performance review of Extramural young chemists school “Cognition” which is organised by Lithuanian youth information and technical creativity centre. Goals of this kind of activities are discussed here in the context of the ongoing educational investigation. One of them is Programme for International Student Assessment OECD PISA 200 PISA which is conducted by Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The article also emphasized the need to balance non-formal and formal education ratio to student career. Foreign countries have already recognized that formal education is not more important than the informal one because these two forms of education are complementary and necessary to achieve the unity of education. Students who successfully completed a full program of the school, say that studies in Extramural young chemists school “Cognition” gave them more knowledge and understanding about chemistry subject. What is more, it helped them to find friends and become more autonomous and independent. This confirms that Extramural young chemists school “Cognition” (NJChM) is suitable for general education informal part of the chemical training (module).

CHILDREN’S INNATE AND NATURAL COGNITIVE ACTIVITY TRAINING IN WORLD COGNITION LESSONS
Abstract
One of the most important state’s educational development goals – is effective, cohesive and obtainable education system. Preparing the students for lifelong learning is tightly connected with pedagogue’s ability to implement teaching strategies defined in training programs in the way that student would be capable not only remember the material but also to be able to adopt their knowledge in everyday life.
The success of student’s participation in educational process depends not only on peda-gogue’s qualification, but also on his competence to motivate the students for the activity, on the ability to reveal individual’s the strongest qualities.
Unconventional practice with preparation for experiments forces student to brace up and to feel very important: he must remember (hence it’s needed to ask mother or sister for help) to collect all necessary items for the experiments, to be able to show how to get on with other classmates in the team, to be able to consult with their friends, carefully read the instructions, to be careful with work equipment (hence it’s necessary to present the final result).
Teaching children in world cognition primary school classes, the unconventional work approach is in use – the experiment. Students are very interested in conducting the research. This way they can feel very important and significant. For the children suck kind of learning is unusual. The experi-ment can last for awhile. It’s necessary to wait for result for the several days. During the research, specific events are directly observed, they are compared, sorted, facts are stated, conclusions are made.

RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS AND DIDACTICAL POSSIBILITIES OF THEIR APPLICATION AT THE PHYSICS LESSONS
Abstract
This article deals with the problem of interdisciplinary integration of physics and mathematics, while learning physics in the basic school. Physics, mathematics and other subjects are as the context in which science concepts, the other knowledge, skills acquired specific meanings and are understandable. In order to establish the physics and mathematics knowledge systems, it is very important to generalize, to consolidate the acquired knowledge in relation to each other. Didactic importance and functions of interdisciplinary integration in education process is discussed. The analysis of contents of Physics and Mathematics textbooks and physics and mathematics syllabus of basic school in the aspect of interdisciplinary integration is done. It revealed that in all the Physics textbooks interdisciplinary integration with the mathematics dominates more or less, though some problems exists herewith. The main problem is that acquirement and application of physics and mathematics knowledge is not synchronize: part of mathematics knowledge is keep forgetting, another part – is still unknown. On the purpose to solve raised problem didactic material of mathematics knowledge revision is given. In order to make the education process more efficient, it is proposed to repeat or briefly introduce the necessary new mathematical operations required at physics lesson for the teaching new topic.

ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION AT SCHOOL IN COOPERATION WITH THE GEOLOGY MUSEUM OF VILNIUS UNIVERSITY
Abstract
Kedainiai Youth School takes part in the Ecology Schools Programme organized by the International Environmental Protection Fund.
A great variety of ecological events are held in our school. In cooperation with the Geology Museum of Vilnius University, the Project was carried out successfully. Pupils learn much about the science of geology, the geological process and the occupacion of geologist in general. The mobile expositions were being displayed during the Project (rocks, minerals).
Geologist E. Rudnickaite gave a lecture on „Why Greenland interests Lithuania‘s geologists?“. Pupils learnened much about the formalion of glacier, its migracijon and result to Lithuania‘s relief. Pupils were encourged to be interested in the geological past of their native land.

COMPARISON OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS OF COGNITION OF THE WORLD FOR 1ST-2ND FORMS: ASPECT OF VALUES DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
In primary school it is important not only to introduce school learners into the world of val-ues but also to strive for awareness of such values, their experience and determination to base own life on these values. The directiveness, harmony and value of the personality depends on the what kind of values are internalised and how it is done. Internalisation of values is a consistent process: an individual chooses, evaluates values and behaves according to them. Therefore, development of values within the process of teaching should meet the following requirements: values have to be freely chosen; values are chosen out of several alternatives; values are chosen after intensive con-sideration; values are chosen as the desired and anticipated good; behaviour has to be in tune with the chosen values. It is easier to observe these requirements, when the content of education is full of appropriate textual and visual material, situations, etc., which are suitable for development of val-ue-based principles.
Being integral and comprising not only spheres of natural but also social education, the sub-ject of surrounding world learning creates perfect possibilities for development of school learners‘ value-based principles. The values developed through the subject of surrounding world learning may be divided into four groups (functional aspects): 1) values are related with the self; 2) values related to communication with others, 3) values related with society, 4) values related with natural environ-ment.
The article analyses three alternative textbooks of surrounding world learning: “Raktas“, “Mano pasaulis“ and “Gilė“ for 1st and 2nd forms. An attempt was made to identify if the authors of the textbooks aim to develop value principles and what methods are offered for their develop-ment.
It was revealed that different teaching/learning aids present slightly different approaches. Texts are successfully applied in the textbook “Raktas“: text can be read by both the teacher and by school learners (differentiation of activity). Value principles of school learners are developed through various situations that textbook characters find themselves in. Visual material is used for development of value principles in the textbook “Mano pasaulis“. The authors of “Gilė“ and “Rak-tas“ use open questions for development of value-based principles. School learners may also acquire value principles performing tasks. The number of such tasks increases in “Raktas“ from year to year, their number decreases in “Mano pasaulis“, whereas the number of such assignments remains the same in “Gilė“. The survey revealed that values of communication with other people receive more attention in all the three textbooks for 1st form. The textbooks “Gilė“ allocate least attention to the development of values related to the self.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE COLOUR ENVIRONMENT IN THE CHILD’S NARTURALISTIC INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
A child, in the interaction with other children, adults and the environment, creates a unique understanding of the world, . He knows the world in all senses, observes what is happening, knows basic color names, finds them around himself/herself. Nature gives the child natural learning tools that create a special colour background, the emotional tone for education (learning) process.
The color is a daily children's companion, which never disappears. Through various objects and phenomena color living environment educates a kid or, conversely, crushes the child's emotions.
Preschool focuses on children's knowledge of colors, creating color environment. Color environment appears not only inside the kindergarten‘s environment, but it is also natural. A child likes the nature at different seasons of the year, because everyone has his/her own way of fun and has his/her own color background. The color to a child is more than a technical tool. Colors help to express emotional experiences.
Various tests, color tests help to determine what colors children love most, which ones dominate in the children's drawings, what seasons are the favourite because of their color background, what color of the room, kindergarten‘s environment the children would like most.
Canadian scientist‘s Max Lusher‘s color test helps to reveal the hidden child's mood and stress. Howard Gardner's intelligence theory is oriented towards the fostering of intellectual abilities and cognitive development of the model. Naturalistic intelligence helps to develop the children's respect and love towards the nature, the ability to watch it sensitively.

GAMING TECHNOLOGY ON THE LESSONS OF NATURAL SCIENCES AND GEOGRAPHY
Abstract
Nowadays a pupil with his unique personality and inner world is in the centre of education. Therefore, the main objective of the present-day teacher is to choose the right forms and teaching methods which would correspond the target goal of education which is to develop pupil’s individuality. The most ancient means of children’s education is a game. Games supplement the traditional forms of education as well as encourage the teaching-learning process to be active and enjoyable for pupils. A game gives pupils the opportunity to experiment and manipulate. In addition to this, games have strong emotional effect on pupils; form a lot of their new skills and abilities such as communicative skills, ability to work in a group, decision making, and taking responsibility. Furthermore, games develop pupils’ organizational skills, empathy; they encourage them to be helpful and supportive to others while solving difficult problems. As a result, the use of playing techniques in teaching allows to accomplish a range of pedagogical objectives. Geography games in combination with other pedagogical technologies increase the efficiency of the geographical education. However, even the most successful game cannot alone assure the achievement of all educational goals; that is why, games should be viewed as a constituent part of the system of all educational forms and methods used in teaching.
Perception stereotype which has formed to the majority of pupils often is the cause of their negative attitude towards playing activities during the lesson. On the one hand, pupils are used to think that activity suggested by the teacher at school during the lesson cannot be emotionally attractive to them. On the other hand, pupils might consider a game during the lesson as something inappropriate and irrelevant for their age as well as not so helpful in mastering/learning new material. Consequently, it is important to change pupils’ view point of a game by making it an ordinary and useful form of education.
Efficiency of any game depends on meeting a number of requirements:
• to think over the purpose of the game;
• to motivate the pupils;
• to follow all the three organizational stages of the game;
• to combine skillfully both group and individual work during the game;
• to make pupils solve cognitive and challenging questions;
• to use all the necessary means of education;
• to involve all the pupils in the game;
• to organize appropriately the process of assessment and self-assessment of the pupils.
Every good game, in the first place, contains considerable physical and mental effort.

MOTIVATION OF STUDENTS OF REZEKNE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION OF STUDY THE NATURAL SCIENCES
Abstract
Several reports from scientists, teachers and parents maintain that the students have a low level of motivation in studying natural sciences. There were noted an aggressive attitude to some courses and to school in all. Several students of Rezekne Higher Education institution’s engineering faculty participated in a research about motivation in studying natural sciences. All the data collected dur-ing the research was stored and processed with a self made computer program to determine the mo-tivation of students. The majority of respondents are satisfied with the choice of their specialty. They are interested in studying natural sciences with the use of ICT and would like to have a chance to use the training material in a digital format.

ORGANIZATION OF SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL WORK OF STUDENTS IN INDEPENDENT OF CHEMISTRY, BELARUSIAN STATE AGRICULTURAL ACADEMY
Abstract
A scientific and practice independent study of students should be the basis of the educa-tional process in the reform of higher education. There are demanded not only strong and funda-mental knowledge, but also the willingness to plan, adjust research meaningful activities in a society of high technologies. Creative work, including a research, is an essential part of students' independ-ent work.
The article describes the experience of the organization in research work of students of initial courses at the Department of Chemistry, agro-ecology faculty of Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. The activity of the research association "Students’ Society Competent Solution of the Unique Tasks" (SSCSUT)) helps to promote the creative and intellectual potentials of the students who want to take part in the research proposed for the upper classes. Students are involved in the creative learning process by creating the conditions for the implementation of independent research and practical work.
Olympiad movement in chemistry is a form of creative organization of independent stu-dents' work. Thanks to the annual International Chemistry Olympiad, the Department of Chemis-try of EE (establishment of education) "BSAA" communicates with universities in ecological and biological and agricultural sections of the CIS countries. Olympiads identifies subject erudition of students, the ability to operate the acquired information. That Olympiad opens for many future specialists new opportunities for their academic and professional growth.

THE ORGANIZATION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITY OF PUPILS AS THE COMPONENT OF WORK OF SCHOOL SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION
Abstract
Involvement of students and teachers in active scientific research and development - an ur-gent need of all time. The school scientific community is intending to ensure all of that.
Scientific research studies allow each student to acknowledge, try and indentify at least some of their talents. The purpose of school scientific community: – the development of students independent , logical ,critical thinking; skills of analysis and synthesis; ability to work with the edu-cational, scientific and reference literature; involvement in creative research action of different age group students.
In the past three years the authors of the article were engaged with the reforming of SSC in connection with the transition to the new national education program. Organisation of a clear struc-tured system of creative-research action of students came as a result. Positive progresses in changes of age and subject fields of study are achieved.
Science-research activity of students is a collaborative process of student and teacher. The main function of a modern teacher – management of the study process, development of students personality. Organization of science research activity acquires a special significance, as it is a big factor of self-development and self-determination, has a significant impact on personal profes-sional establishment of graduates.
The proposed method of student activity organization allows to smoothly, consistently and purposefully involving students in active, independent cognitive activity according to their interest and abilities.
